Continuing my previous posts of creating donation button using PayPal and MoneyBookers, I’m very pleased to introduce an alternative, which is E-Gold. After reading this post, I’m sure that you will know how to make an E-Gold donation form/button to place on your website or blog to collect contributions from your donors.

Firstly, you should need an E-Gold account. Please click here to get it FREE! (You may need to learn more about what E-Gold is, by clicking here to see my introduction).

The code below should generate a form that your donors can enter their amount to donate to you. Please insert the code in your website/blog.

<form action=https://www.e-gold.com/sci_asp/payments.asp method=POST target=_top>
<fieldset>
<legend>Donate using E-gold</span></legend>
<input name=PAYEE_ACCOUNT type=hidden value=”5403254“>
<input name=PAYEE_NAME type=hidden value=”yourdomain.com“>
Please enter the amount you would like to give<br>
• USD
</p>
</fieldset>
</form>

The code above should appear like below:

<fieldset>
<legend>Donate using E-gold</legend>

</fieldset>

You will need to change the text in bold in the code above to suit yourself.

You may need to create webpage to give thanks to your donors.

In order to donate to your account, the donors should need an E-Gold account too!

If you should have any question, please feel free to leave it here.

Since inception 2CO has maintained a steady and maintainable growth. The company’s approach is geared towards providing quality service to new and existing clients without feeling the need to expand at a rate that would sacrifice service to 2CO clients.

The supplier status you obtain through 2CO permits you to access a larger market. The potential customer responds to marketing, visits your site and has the additional reassurance of knowing their purchase is backed by 2CO — a US-based business with years of e-commerce experience.

When buyers click on the links to pay, 2CO handles the sale in a secure environment, contracts with you as the supplier to fulfill the sale, and deposits payment for the sale into your account.
It’s just that easy!

How fast can I get up and running?

1. You can be receiving live orders immediately Click here to activate account using 2CO online form . No long forms to fill out and mail, etc. Your account will be live and ready to sell through 2CO immediately!
2. * Next, add products / services and prices to your customer account so that buttons and links can be automatically created for you.
3. * Then, place the buttons or links on your web site and you are ready to go.

2CO accepts customer orders via online checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Dinners, JCB, debit cards with the Visa and MasterCard logo, FXSource®, PayPal®, and PayPal Pay Later®

*Other options exist, such as using 2CO free shopping cart or other third party product or shopping cart.
How do I fill orders?

As soon as a buyer places an order, you will receive detailed order information via a fulfillment email from 2CO.
Detailed records of each transaction are also stored on 2CO servers and can be accessed by you to fill, track and manage orders.

What does it cost?

There is a one time only set up fee of $49.00. After that, you only pay for sales. If you sell nothing, you pay nothing. 2CO collects a 5.5% commission on each transaction plus a $0.45 charge per sale.

With a whole third of 2008 already passed by now is a good time to do some spring cleaning. A quick look at my white board shows no less than THIRTEEN projects that have been started but not yet finished. This is bad. On top of that there are the advertising networks that I’ve meant to implement but haven’t, the networks that I’ve only half implemented and those that I’ve been using that are no longer performing and need to be removed. This is all the stuff that in an ideal world I’d be doing on a continuous basis, unfortunately it’s not an ideal world and day to day I just don’t have the time. This is why I pick out several times a year to go back through what needs doing.

The one thing that always jumps out at me (and the one thing I always promise myself I’ll not do anymore) is this habit of starting a new project and then not finishing it. For my money this is one of the worst things that you can do. Putting the notion in your own head of needing a “change” can actually result in work that should only take a few days taking several weeks. Any work that you do that needs concentrated thought is best being done in 1 go, no matter how long it takes. To leave it alone for a few days and then try to go back to it results in you having to re-learn what you did, why you did it and concentrate again on how you’re going to finish it. The end result is plenty of unfinished projects. There have been ideas that I was always wetting myself with excitement when I first started them, I pulled out all the stops, broke the back of the hard work and then for some reason decided I needed a little change and never actually finished it. The initial buzz is gone and if I’m really ruthless I’ll resign 1 or 2 to the scrap pile.

As humans (admittedly some of us better looking than others) most of us are programmed to follow a path of least resistance. We’re always looking for the easiest job to work on rather than the finishing the more complicated bit of work. As a programmer I often find myself spending too much time tweaking the UI, it’s so much easier than actually getting my hands dirty with that new feature I promised people! If you want to make the most of making money online it’s a habit you’ll have to break. Think in terms of idea -> start project -> FINISH PROJECT -> next idea. Keep a production line like that going and some ideas will hit. Keep pumping out badly made, half finished websites and the chances of you ever making any real money online are slim.

You might have guessed already that I’m preaching here what I don’t cruelty practice. No efficient worker should have as many half done jobs that need finished as what I have. I suppose the truth is that as I’ve started to make more money I’ve also started to become a little lazy, it’s certainly not how I started off. This is as much a kick up my own ass as anybody elses who spends more time buying domain names that creating content. Now it’s time to make some money and get on with some work.

It’s may be easy if you come from U.S., Australian, Austrian, Belgian, Canadian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hong Kong, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mexican, New Zealand, Norwegian, Portuguese, Singaporean, Spanish, Swedish, Swiss, Taiwanese, or U.K because you can withdraw paypal directly to your local bank. Click here to see countries list that can open paypal account.

PayPal only allows its users to withdraw their money from the PayPal account if the users are living in the countries listed in the PayPal approved countries list for withdrawing.
Step 3: After sign in, please select your country (e.g. Vietnam) and total amount of money (e.g. $1000) you want to withdraw from PayPal (see below), then press “Send now” button.

Step 4: Choose Pick-up or Delivery, whichever meet your requirement.

What does it mean to be Verified?
Verification increases the security of the PayPal network. Verified members have successfully completed PayPal’s Verification system to establish their identity with us. The Verification process varies by country or region. For example, in the U.S., a Verified member has added and confirmed a bank account with PayPal. In Germany, a Verified member has completed a bank transfer or the Expanded Use Process. In most countries and regions where PayPal is available, a Verified member has added a credit card and completed the Expanded Use process.
Why does PayPal ask its members to become Verified?
PayPal encourages members to become Verified to increase trust and safety in our community. Because financial institutions screen their account holders, PayPal’s Verification process increases security when you pay parties you do not know.
How does Verification benefit users?
Verification gives you more information about the people you transact with through PayPal, so that you can make more informed decisions. PayPal encourages members to become Verified to build trust in our community.
How do users take advantage of PayPal’s Verification process?
There are several ways to take advantage of PayPal’s Verification process and decrease your fraud risks:

When you receive a payment: Log in to your account, go to the My Account tab, and click the History subtab. Find the payment in question and choose the status link (for example, “Pending”) in the Status column. This will take you to a payment details page. Next to the sender’s name, you will find that person’s Verification status (Verified, Unverified).

When you send a payment: When you send a payment, a reputation link is provided where you may view the recipient’s status (Verified, Unverified).

Note: PayPal’s Verification system does not constitute an endorsement of a member or a guarantee of a member’s business practices. You should always consider other indicators when evaluating members, including length of PayPal membership and reputation scores (on eBay or other shopping sites, if applicable).
